Remembrance Weekend Special.
With just 2 teams not getting games on this weekend & 1 new team starting next week, our Team of the Weeks will now be feature a few 'subs' so that ever team gets a mention.

WELL DONE all the players, keep working hard & improving.

U6 Giants- Emmanuel.
One of the best games I have witnessed as a coach! A great game with our friends Middleton Lads! In a game where u6 giants started very slow and conceded a early 3-0. Emmanuel’s energy and power started the come back! Quick goals in the 3rd period put the game back into our hands and held on at the end. Emmanuel was a rock winning tackles and made all the correct decisions going forward, releasing the ball when he needed to and taking shots when they were available.

U6 Raiders - Mikey
A tough second ever game for the u6 raiders. Again playing up a year losing out 2-1. Mikey scored the only goal for the Raiders but his hard work all game kept the game close and it was a well deserved goal.

U6 Moston - Austin
Austin - played his best game yet for the team. Worked really hard from start to finish with no subs, constantly getting stuck into tackles and got himself 4 goals playing both. Really improving in his understanding of the game.

U7 Giants - Finn
A tight affair in the MYSL Christmas cup. Finishing 5-5, after 51 minutes. Some great goals scored but 100% Finn came away with the man of the match. Breaking up the play, starting attacks and moving the ball quickly when at times the boys were flat. All the energy needed to keep the game close.

U7 Rebels - Jake
My player of the week is Jake his first game with the rebels today was a tough one but he showed determination and skill to L turn the defender and ping it in bottom corner great finish and great composure

U7 Eagles - Mykie.
More improvements again from U7 Eagles! Mykie has had a great game, battling hard and really trying to get involved with play. Showed good spirit today. Very well done Mykie

U8 Giants - Charlie M
MoTm Charlie solid at back and good distribution to start attacks for a another big win.
Showing huge improvement over recent weeks as the giants continue their winning ways.

U8 Cheshire - Arlo
U7 Arlo had a brilliant game this weekend playing at u8s. Playing our friends from yorkshire MTH Arlo bagged himself a hat-trick and tackled well when playing at the back with smart forward balls to start attacks.

U8 Raiders - Alfie
U8 vs U9 DERBY!!
A brilliant team performance this week. They dominated the game from start to finish against one of the strongest teams in the league. When Alfie plays well the team plays well. The effort and attitude from him is first class.

U8 Panthers - Riley T
Riley deserved the Man of the Match today. Didn’t give up all the way through and scraped for everything. His size didn’t put him to any disadvantage and he bullied bigger players than himself. Some well deserved goals and he even put his face on the line, putting it in the way of a great free kick to ensure the ball beat their keeper and went in the back of the net. The goggles definitely worked!!
Well done Riley 🏆

U8 Eagles- Zach -
A big win for the Eagles with Zach having a blinder.
Scored a double hat trick
Also passing was excellent assisting at least 4 goals with passes that split the defence
Defended well when required and also willing to track back
10/10 performance

U9 Giants - Aidan
The midfield general. Aidan is the rock in the middle for the giants always trying to get the things ticking and get the team going. Whether its going forward or defending Aidan was up and down the pitch putting his body about. Played very well in a close game

U9 Raides - Mayson
Unfortunately the lads suffered another defeat.
The raiders struggle to keep possession and struggled with our defensive work against a bigger side. Having chances but struggling to take them
MOTM mayson
1 assist, mason played a massive part in our goal, he also helped us create chances and ran his socks off to help with his defensive work.

U9 Eagles- Chris (DERBY DAY)
A tough test awaited the eagles today when they played against a team who move the ball very well a good start for them when we got a early goal however they reacted well and took plenty of shots which mom Chris stood strong very well until they scored one 1-1 at the break another good start to quick fire goals for the eagles 3-1 they had plenty of shots but Chris stood strong and had his best game of the season they got a goal on the break 3-2 another great win for the eagles

U12 Wolves - Abdul
Well done to my players today. Playing with 8 against 9 for the first 10-12 minutes against a good team but we managed to play good until everyone had arrived. It was a challenging and a physical game but 1-1 was a fair score in the end MOTM our goalkeeper Abdul

U12 Raiders - Blake
Blake was man of the match for the u12 giants today showing great determination and drive scoring two great goals his first goal to make it 1-1 and also listening to instruction and making the right choices
Well done Blake

U12 Giants - MOM Lennon. Settling in really well in to his new position as a midfielder. Really strong in the middle and has excellent feet. He scored a brilliant goal today from a corner too.
